The world always seems brighter when you’ve just made something that wasn’t there before.
(Neil Gaiman)
That is exactly how I feel, every time I’ve created a new free dofollow backlink it finally gets indexed to gain my link-building strategy. 😉 SEO can be really fun if it finally works and you see first successes at the Google rankings and visits, of course. Today let’s use some art to do this, to be more precise: Let’s create a profile at DeviantArt.com!
DeviantArt is the largest online social network for artists and art enthusiasts. Let’s get part of it and I’ll show you the trick of how to get free dofollow backlinks from this high-quality website.
Create a free account at DeviantArt.com
First of all, join for free and sign up here: https://www.deviantart.com/join/
Choose what you want to do on DeviantArt – I’ll be honest and take PROMOTE MYSELF.
Choose at least three topics you are interested in to continue.
Right after that, you will be asked to confirm your email address by clicking the link in the mail you’ve got in your mailbox. Click on BROWSE ART after that.
Open the menu on the upper right side and click on ACCOUNT SETTINGS.
Here you can see the exact name and URL of your DeviantArt profile. Now click on that link to get on your personal page, in my case, it’s https://www.deviantart.com/backlinkguide – what else?
Bring some life to your profile by uploading a banner and an avatar, then scroll down to the ABOUT section…
Click on EDIT to get started, but read my how-to guide for further instructions! You have to do it the right way to get the free high-quality dofollow backlinks at DeviantArt.com…
Create free dofollow backlinks at DeviantArt.com
Here comes the clue: Just go to your profile at MOJOmarketplace.com or AtlasObscura.com, which you’ve created already before. Now copy and paste your text in the ABOUT ME right to your DeviantArt Profile and click SAVE.
Forget about the other sections like about or social media in this menu, they will only give you nofollow backlinks.
That’s all we need for our successful link building.
By the way: Do yourself a favor and unsubscribe from all kinds of notifications by turning them off under menu -> Account settings -> General -> Notification Settings.

Like always you have to share and publish this new link to get it indexed as fast as possible, in this case, you need the full power. I’ve already shared it on this page, on lasso.net, protopage.com, AllMyFaves.com, start.me, diigo.com, Instapaper.com, carrd.co, dailygram.com, ello.co, artstation.com, imgur.com, MyMiniFactory.com, hatena.ne.jp, linktr.ee, mssg.me, taplink.cc, and telegram as shown in the last articles. All other already existing Social Media Channels with outgoing dofollow links will also be helpful. But in my link-building tutorial, I will soon show you a lot more free landing pages and profiles where you can publish them with a lot more link juice. To index, this URL at Google and ahrefs could take some time.
Check your link building success with the Google Search Console
Don’t forget to check your link-building success from time to time. You can use the Google Search Console to see which domains already give you a fully working backlink if you don’t have a paid tool at ahrefs, XOVI, MOZ, Sistrix, or Searchmetrics. More about that here: https://backlinkgui.de/seo-basics/#Important_tools_to_control_SEO_measures
And that is the link to the Google Search Console: https://search.google.com/search-console – get an account, it’s for free! And you need to control your backlinks. In case you wonder: The link list in the Google Search Console will be updated only once a week. So stay patient… good SEO needs time!
Please write a comment below if the link doesn’t work as described or is offline.

Thank you for the guide. However, this doesn’t work for me. Deviantart keeps transforming the links to nofollow. Even worse, they transform the url within the a-tag, see image. Any tips to avoid this?
Dear Ruki, thanks for the hint! In this case please don’t copy and paste the HTML-Code from the source code, just copy and paste the plain text with the links from the existing profile. I’ve added this to the description. Good luck!
Indeed! Thank you Daniel 😉
Yes, indeed! Daniel, thank you so much for your kind words.
