So is SEO and especially link building. You’ll never be finished. There are always new backlink sources, while others keep disapearing. And as long as Google keeps on changing the rules of this game every few weeks the art of search engine optimization will never be finished. Today I’m gonna show you how to create helpful backlinks from the high quality website artstation.com, which is a fantastic community of artists – not photographers.
Create a free account at artstation.com
First of all you have to sign up here https://www.artstation.com/ on the upper right corner.
Fill out the details and click CREATE ACCOUNT.
Then verify your email address by clicking the link in the verification mail.
Set up your community profile, remove the tick from the Newsletter subscription and click continue.
Choose your type of profile, I always would prefer ARTIST to get what we want: free Backlinks!
Bring some life into your profile, add at least a small BIO and some skills. Then scroll down to the bottom and CONTINUE.
Read the next site with the community rules or not, but at least you have to mark it as read to continue.
Now you can skip the next step, just go the upper left corner, open the dashboard and click EDIT PROFILE in the expanding menu.
Create free dofollow backlinks at artstation.com
Here you can put in your website or blog URL and some social media channels we’ve already created together, such as IMDb, behance or twitch. All of them will get high quality dofollow backlinks from your artstation profile. Click VIEW PROFILE to see what you’ve created – in my case it’s https://www.artstation.com/backlinkguide – what else? 😉

By the way: Don’t forget to unsubscribe to all the notifications and newsletters in the EDIT PROFILE section.
Of course you have to share and publish this new link to get it indexed quickly. I’ve already shared it on this page, on lasso.net, protopage.com, AllMyFaves.com, start.me, diigo.com, Instapaper.com, linktree, carrd.co and telegram as shown in the last articles. Your profiles at Imgur and ello.co will also be helpful. All other already existing Social Media Channels with outgoing dofollow links will also be helpful. But in the next chapter of my link building tutorial I will soon show you a lot more of free landing pages and profiles where you can publish it with a lot of more linkjuice.
Please be patient, as this link is already really high rated it could take some time to be indexed at Google or ahrefs.
Check your link building success with the Google Search Console
Don’t forget to check your link building success from time to time. You can use the Google Search Console to see which domains already give you a fully working backlink if you don’t have a payed tool at ahrefs, XOVI, MOZ, Sistrix or Searchmetrics.
