People paying you for doing what you love is different than finding more people who love what you do.

You want to get sponsored for your great work, but nobody knows about you? It’s time to change that! So get your sponsors at the greatest membership platform for sponsoring: Patreon.com! And if no patron is willing to give you money at least you can keep the free high-quality dofollow backlinks for your SEO… 😉
Create a free account at Patreon.com
First of all, sign up for free at https://www.patreon.com/signup.
The email verification will not be sent automatically, you have to send the message on your own and verify it.
Right after the verification, you can do your basic settings. In any case, you should unsubscribe to the email notifications.
Now go to the upper right corner and open the menu. Click on CREATE ON PATREON, because until now you are only a sponsor, not a creator…
Go through the registration process and fill out whatever you like.
You don’t have to do merchandise to continue, but if you want to… 😉
To become a creator at Patreon you have to connect at least one social media account, like twitch, YouTube, Instagram, or Twitter. Let them verify that you are active on the internet and already have a brand they can use for your profile.
On the following page, you can fill out all the details needed for your profile page at patreon.com. But before you click save changes scroll down…
Create free dofollow backlinks at Patreon.com
…to the ABOUT ME section. Here you can fill any text you like and set your free dofollow backlinks with a fitting anchor text. If it’s not only about the free backlinks give the people good reasons why they should sponsor you.
My tip: Copy and paste the text from your already existing profile at mojomarketplace.com. It has all the necessary HTML-Tags.
You have to finish your work so click on FINISH ACCOUNT DETAILS for the last steps.
Give patreon.com your Creator Account Details like a real name and make sure your profile is visible to the whole wide world. On the upper right side you see a button named LAUNCH – click it to get to the next screen…
Now your personal page at patreon.com is finally online! In my case, it’s https://www.patreon.com/backlinkguide – what else?
Here’s what it looks like on the smartphone.
Feel free to use a banner like this one to promote your account on your blog or website:
Here you can read more about the American membership platform:
Like always you have to share and publish this new link to get it indexed quickly. I’ve already shared it on this page, on lasso.net, protopage.com, AllMyFaves.com, start.me, diigo.com, Instapaper.com, mssg.me, taplink.cc, dailygram.com, and telegram as shown in the last articles. All other already existing Social Media Channels with outgoing dofollow links will also be very helpful. Some of them offer already the icon for your Patreon profile, like linktree, carrd.co and ello.co. But in the next articles of my link-building tutorial, I will soon show you a lot more free landing pages and profiles where you can publish them with a lot more link juice.
Check your link building success with the Google Search Console
Don’t forget to check your link-building success from time to time. You can use the Google Search Console to see which domains already give you a fully working backlink if you don’t have a paid tool at ahrefs, XOVI, MOZ, Sistrix, or Searchmetrics. More about that here: https://backlinkgui.de/seo-basics/#Important_tools_to_control_SEO_measures
And that is the link to the Google Search Console: https://search.google.com/search-console – get an account, it’s for free! And you need to control your backlinks. In case you wonder: The link list in the Google Search Console will be updated only once a week.
Please write a comment below if the link doesn’t work as described or is offline.
I want to keep this information up to date for every user.

http://patreon.com/robots.txt

Ein Profil wie https://www.patreon.com/backlinkguide wird problemlos indexiert. Mein anderes Projekt zeigt die Links in der Google Search Console und nur darauf kommt es an. 😉
Viele Grüße
Your Patreon pages are marked noindex, many others are too. You need some patreons (it was 5 i guess) to get your page indexed. You can check on Google and Ahrefs, that both of your Patreon pages are not showing up, yet.
Hey Ruki, thank you for your feedback! I’m just wondering because my Google Search Console keeps telling me the links are indexed…
Yes, the patreon page is “noindex” but the links can still be followed. GSC shows that it found the links from that page. However, they are not indexing the patreon page, yet. I was confused about your “problemlos indexiert”.
When we look at the source of the page, it is edited as “noindex”. I suggest you be careful about this. Backlink resources that are noindex do not have any benefit.
Dear Emily, even if there is a NOINDEX tag those links from Patreon are DoFollow Backlinks and Google doesn’t seem to care about the tag. I’ve got them indexed in my Google Search Console and that’s where I want them. 😉
When we look at the source code of the page, we are able to see that it has been edited as “noindex”. It is important that you take care with this. It is not beneficial to link to noindex resources.
Hallo Daniel,
kann es sein, dass Patreon auf nofollow geswitched hat. Ich bekommen nur nofollow in meinem About Abschnitt. Egal ob ich copy paste, oder manuel die links einpflege 🙁 🙁
